How to use this target

Use this target for a small portrait or attachment when the destination explicitly says 100 KB. File weight and picture dimensions are separate constraints: a 600-pixel image can still be too large in bytes.

  1. Choose a JPEG, PNG or WebP image and confirm the destination accepts JPEG output.
  2. Add any minimum or maximum pixel dimensions under Advanced settings. Keep resize off when the dimensions must remain unchanged.
  3. Compare the result with the original. Inspect faces, logos and text before saving the validated file.

What to check before uploading

This preset is a custom size target, not a verified passport or government requirement. Check the current official upload instructions for dimensions, crop, background and format. Automatic mode can escalate from your browser to edge or temporary server processing; on-device-only mode prevents file uploads.

Common questions

Does setting 100 KB guarantee a readable result?

No. A small byte budget can soften fine details. SizeMyFile validates measurable constraints, but you should check readability and appearance yourself.

Why does my PNG get bigger when converted?

PNG is often efficient for flat graphics. JPEG usually suits photographs, but conversion does not guarantee fewer bytes for every image.
