How to use this target

Increase image dimensions when an upload requires more pixels. Enter the minimum and maximum width and height in Advanced settings, or tell the assistant “enlarge to 1200 × 800 pixels.” Enlargement interpolates existing pixels; it does not recover detail or repair an out-of-focus photo.

  1. Choose a source image. This tool starts with PNG output and a 5,000,000-byte maximum, with enlargement allowed.
  2. Set the target dimensions. Preserve the original aspect ratio: a 600 × 400 image can become 1200 × 800, but cannot become 1200 × 1200 without cropping or distortion.
  3. Process and inspect at full size. The output report checks actual dimensions and byte size before download.

What to check before uploading

This tool preserves aspect ratio and does not crop or use generative super-resolution. Strict lossless mode cannot enlarge pixels. The browser uses a 12-megapixel image budget, and larger permitted jobs may need fallback. A larger picture is not proof of passport-photo compliance.

Common questions

Does image enlargement improve photo quality?

It produces more pixels using interpolation. It cannot recreate fine detail that was absent from the source, so start with the highest-quality original.

Why were my exact dimensions rejected?

The requested width and height may conflict with the original aspect ratio, the resource budget, or the maximum byte size. Adjust the limits rather than stretching the image.
